One needs to grow experience carefully in that one topic, in PMs overall, along with other investment options until they are at the level to make such an investment work for them. If there is any purpose other than the stated question about ASE investment, then everything changes and this response is null and void.
I think there are very few good investments out there from a risk/reward standpoint. ASEs can be a good speculation at times. They can also be a good hedge. But as an investment, their recent history hasn't been that great. At today's silver price, I'd consider them a neutral speculation.

By far the most liquid silver in the usa. If you are buying the physical certainly the way to go if you want hassle free when you decide to sell. As for silver being a good investment or not that's another debate.

Why another debate? I thought that that's what this thread was about.
silver eagles are one of the best ways to invest in physical silver. Ounce for ounce they bring in more of a return than other silver products. The real question is "should I invest in silver?" I'm a buyer.

I would stick with the ASE bullion coins.... or AGE bullion... as close to melt as possible... and no worries about tarnish or slight wear... Cheers, RickO

I’m in it for the long haul.

I knew it would happen.
I think you’re right.
@HJP717
Have you considered AGEs instead of ASEs?
Yes, I have.
I agree with jmski. PMs have always been a place for me to park money as a hedge. Never thought of it as an investment or part of my retirement.

Thank you. I hope I made the right decision in buying them.
Do you recommend Silver bullion or Silver coins?
The American Silver Eagles are technically coins.
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
Silver eagles are my first choice. RCM 10 oz. bars are my second choice.

When you buy ASEs, you're buying the most liquid silver possible in the retail market. Premiums may change, but it's as liquid as it gets.
I knew it would happen.
Thank you
Get some AGE, too.
Got liquidity ? Good ! Most of my friends don't Maybe I have the wrong friends.
I recommend liquid silver , I keep mine simmering on a hotplate
