I am not up to date on the value of early bust dollars and I have nothing to do with this auction, but I cam across this on ebay while searching for commems. It doesn't look to bad for the price to me. Am I wrong?

Never mind. I just looked it up. Not that good of a deal. I need to stick to collecting what I know.

Yes, it's had the dickens polished out of it. When an old circulated coin looks like a headlight, it's usually a good idea to pass unless it's graded "Gem Unc." Even then you need to be carful.
Yes, There are degrees of "problems" with coins and polishing is right up there at the top. Only thing worse is a hole drilled into it.
I suppose it would me more palatable if the date was "1804".
