Just added new photos of my 1930 Mercury Dimes.

    Both seem to be luster bombs. How did the 30 "P" not get FB?

    They are both lovely coins and, no, I don't see two points difference between the two coins given the images included in this thread.

    There are several tiny hits on the bands of the 30. It's real close and it looks like a full unbroken line to me but no go.These are both older holders especially the 30-S which is a OGH. It would probably go 65 at least if resubmitted.

    I do not see two points difference in those images.... I will say that the first one, somehow, looks more aesthetically appealing to me... I cannot define it though.... and certainly not two points in grade. Cheers, RickO

    Two really nice and well matched FB-IMHO-Mercs. I agree with Ricko and do not see a full rwo point difference.Two real nice tough Mercs with the tinge of gold that I like.

    Both are nice, I agree the OGH is a 65 minimum...
