What do you think?
I think it is Doubled. But, with a glass , You can barley see the error. Thus making it , , lets say uninteresting. Thus no value. But its a lead to a higher grade because its unlisted.
As so is this one,
located in the D mint mark
Just for giggles,
see this one? What do I do with it?
I see a lot of corrosion but not much else. Spend them as quickly as possible.
In regard to the 1982, do you know what machine doubling is? How does your coin show, oe not show, signs of MD?
Thanks for your time . Sorry its not up to par, but pressing on . cool.
David
I see a lot of machine "doubling" if that is what you want to call it. Really it is the extra bounce or something in the strike that creates a flat spot at the edge of the lettering. Definitely not a "doubled die".
Your pictures are very good... and clearly show 'machine doubling'..... Not a doubled die.... Good luck in your searches. Cheers, RickO
It seems @emeraldATV has no real desire to learn about coins and just enjoys posting damaged coins just to get a reaction.
I think another glass of barley will help you find more illumination!
