New this year! Premium Coin: The 2019 Silver Proof Set is accompanied by an additional 2019 Lincoln penny cent with a reverse proof finish struck at the West Point Mint with a “W” mint mark. This special coin is packaged separately in clear United States Mint plastic wrap.
This is the second of three annual sets to include an additional, separately packaged premium penny cent with a “W” mint mark in 2019. The United States Mint Proof Set® includes an additional premium penny cent with a proof finish and the United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set® will include an additional premium penny cent with an uncirculated finish.
I wonder if the envelope is really made at West Point.
I never put the proof W into the envelope, since it would probably ruin the envelope. (The cent comfortably rests between the two lenses, and the envelope fits inside the proof box...)
I am still waiting for a W nickel.....that is the only one remaining to get the West Point mint mark.. then I will have a complete set....cent, ______, dime, quarter, half, ASE....Cheers, RickO

Mine is already on a truck and has left Southaven. Should be in Indy by tonight. Might get it by early next week.
Fastest service I've gotten from the Mint via Smartpost...
Wow. Got the silver set today. Record time for Smartpost.
Of course, the cent has some sort of stain on it, and will be going back... The coins in the set look perfect, so I really don't want to send it back, but...

In five days the 2019 Silver PF has sold over half of the total sold for 2018’s Silver PF set.
I’m supposing there are two contributing factors:
-2019-W RP cent
-first silver PF set using 99.9% silver versus 90%
Mintage comparison:
2019: 191670 as of 21 Apr 19 (released 17 Apr 19)
2018: 306124 as of 30 Dec 18 (end of run)
——-
General information and specifications (note the differences in weights).
Item number/description: 19RH/2019 Silver PF
Mintage: 191670
As of: 04/21/2019
Item number/description: 18RH/2018 Silver PF
Mintage: 306124
As of: 12/30/2018
——-
So that leads to the next obvious question.
Have there been any dimes, quarters, or halves previously minted with 99.9% silver?
Good question, doubtful but I'm sure it would spark interest for some to start to check. The mintage number for 2018 of vs 2019 pf is kind of astounding.
Still, looking forward to picking mine up this week.

New this year! Premium Coin: The 2019 Uncirculated Coin Set is accompanied by an additional, special edition 2019 Lincoln penny with an uncirculated finish struck at the West Point Mint with a “W” mint mark. This special coin is packaged separately in clear United States Mint plastic wrap. This is the third of three sets to include an additional special edition penny with a “W” mint mark in 2019.

“The dilemma that collectors like Haynes are experiencing is that, to receive a replacement for the damaged bonus cent, at their own expense they must return the entire Proof set along with the bonus cent, even though the superior quality of the set’s coins struck at the San Francisco Mint are not in question.”
The dilemma is that returning a product takes a long time for a replacement to arrive.
Third and final W cent is now available from the Mint, but you have to buy the 2019 Uncirculated Coin Set. The cent has the uncirculated finish.

I hope you are kidding. But $1,400 for a roll of modern junk...….you can count me out! I buy the new Dimes every year just to keep my sets current and consider that a waste of money.

I actually ended up with a few rolls worth. Will see how this goes.

Annnd, another Friday Night addition...
2019 Silver Proof Set (19RH)
And they have a page on the cents.
Special Edition Lincoln Penny Cent Collection
(Edit to "cent" is mine.)
Two days for more pennies W cents.
The Mint should do a "4th" W cent release this year onto general circulation, made out of real copper.
Heck, follow the W quarter mintage of 2 million seems about right too.
the 2019 silver proof set will probably be selling for under 40 within a year so the cent will cost about 15 dollars
Today is the day at 1200 Eastern.
Or, using the easy way. Confirmed USS12712nnn.

I’ll be almost glad when this W craze will be over. Almost, because this is a known, what’ll be next? BEP opening another print site?
Oh wait, that is under consideration.
Possible moving DC operations to Greenbelt, MD. Posted on the Currency Forum. Oh joy!

@ricko... but don't forget about the $1 coin too.
I'll be satisfied with just the five quarters.
@LJenkins11... The ASE is the dollar coin....Cheers, RickO
I agree the ASE is the REAL dollar coin but I was referring to those dreaded golden color impostors.
Reverse proof W cents now on sale (with the Silver PF set).
Edit to add:
This Silver PF set is also the first with 99.9% silver coins instead of 90%.
My 2 sets are on order. they will go along with my 2 proof sets, and 2 uncirculated sets when they come out May 14th.
Shipped!
How about 484,000. They seem to like doing this.

The 2019 Mint set will be available May 14...
2019 Uncirculated Coin Set
Mine showed up with an even bigger smear. Loo
ks like blood. From the inside of the baggie?
Welcome @pizza442 to the forums. Is the smear on the coin or bag?
Also, there appears to be something along the lower part of Abe’s bust.
got my silver pf set two days ago, all coins look good
Received my set today, all good...

It would be cool to get a nice custom display to showcase all W mm lincolns together.
Good idea!
Add the 2019 ATB W-quarters, ‘96 W-dime, and ‘14 W-Kennedy.
No W-nickel, though.
That would be a nice set! I'm sure in the upcoming years the mint will release a new "rarity" 😉
Hope it’s soon, not many decades left in these old bones, organs, etc.
Nickel. Self quote.

I'm pretty pleased with mine, there's one spot on the rev of the shield. Obv is gorgeous imo.
Third and final W cent is now available from the Mint, but you have to buy the 2019 Uncirculated Coin Set. The cent has the uncirculated finish.

Stop talking that way. But you did say decades. Sounds to me like you're an optimist. Good for you!
Well, I guess I'll post it here.
Got my uncirc set today.
My "W" cent looks perfect.
However, it's the Denver Sacabuck that really stands out. It's definately proof-like. The D-half, maybe.
I'd send it in for a grade, but I've got a curse getting MS coins to grade well.
I know I used to get on Denver's case about quality, but the Denver coins are a step above Philly's in my mint set...
I'll try to get a pic up when I get the chance.
