This is a scrap piece for testing

Very interesting. That thing looks like it might hold hot oil. Being lunch time I am more concerned where my potato chips come from right about now.

P.S. - where does the computer chip come into play? It is too early in the process for me to see the connection.

Ever had a Blanchard grinder or do Blanchard grinding? A friend had one of those in his father's machine shop.

No, we use Bohler or EDRO for that process.

(And be careful with those keys - if the picture of them was at a better angle my cousin who is a locksmith could probably make a duplicate key just by looking at it. )

Whats amazing is they sell six nines copper for penny’s on the dollar for scrap when we could be re-melting it and pouring bars for commodities

Nice shop, I want it! I thought computer chips were made from silicon wafer. Now I'm all confused.

Silicon is the bass where you lay sometimes hundreds of layers of Cu, Ti, AU, UA, Al, or my favorite bastardized Ta what a pain Ta is to machine. you need ghe material added that is an conductor to create pathways for the ones and Zeros or on and off. there can be millions on a pin head now it’s totally amazing. we are almost at the end of the technology after that it’s probably some kind of organic material like a brain or are new over lords as I like to call them.
