I'm an EACer but I have a potential opportunity to pick this coin up at a reasonable price (low demand for this sort of thing around here). The coin is in another part of the country so I have only these photos to go by. What do you think?

looks XF to me.
BHNC #203
I like it - but then I prefer San Francisco stuff. Looks problem-free, maybe the dark toning kept it from XF40? I would probably go for it and use it for a trade down the road.

If the price is right I'd go for it. The coin looks properly graded to me. I wouldn't give it an XF40.
Looks like a nice original half. If price is right, you can't go wrong.
If you don't want it if the price is right as you say I'll buy it!
Solid for the grade. Nice sort of circulated cameo look.
I agree with the above... nice coin if the price is right....When a good buy comes along, I usually will pick it up... even when I am not particularly seeking one. I know...kinda silly... but I like coins. Cheers, RickO
Thanks for the feedback. I also thought it looked OK for the grade (the reverse maybe better) but I don't know beans about the series. We'll see how she goes. Auction (on our local version of eBay) ends in a week.

Nice, I like it !!!
Got it. Not quite as cheaply as I had hoped for a minute (last second bidder) but still much less than any auction of the past several years. Now I have exactly one Seated Liberty Half in my collection!

Can't go wrong.
Looks like you bought it right.......good price and strong for the grade.
