    Die chip, not a cud. Cuds involve the rim and this does not.

    If it is a die chip then in certainly is not unique. There would be 100s or 1000s just like it. I've never seen one, though

    This is the first one I have ever seen and held in my hands. I've held alot of nickels while completing my FS Collection.

    It is a die chip on a coin few will care about. Little or no numismatic premium is likely.

    Nice example of two die chips.

    Not unique, as every coin struck from that
    die state will have them. My guess is that
    there are possibly thousands of them out there,
    should people look at all BU rolls of that date.

    Always interesting, but not rare or valuable.

  • Me, I'm not worried about premiums. I just love the coins. My Grankids may care about the premiums Lol

    That's the best way to do it. There is endless low cost amusement to be had searching coins if you are not only focused on big scores.
