Die chip, not a cud. Cuds involve the rim and this does not.
Cool though...

Neat, I like it !!!
If it is a die chip then in certainly is not unique. There would be 100s or 1000s just like it. I've never seen one, though
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing with us.

Yeah, Was looking at a cud error while typing. Guess my thoughts went to the keyboard. Happens alot. Thanks for the correction
This is the first one I have ever seen and held in my hands. I've held alot of nickels while completing my FS Collection.
Let me rephrase, first one over seen with DIE CHIP making the C In America look similar to an e.
It is a die chip on a coin few will care about. Little or no numismatic premium is likely.
Nice example of two die chips.
Not unique, as every coin struck from that
die state will have them. My guess is that
there are possibly thousands of them out there,
should people look at all BU rolls of that date.
Always interesting, but not rare or valuable.

Me, I'm not worried about premiums. I just love the coins. My Grankids may care about the premiums Lol
I will have lots more to come for you guys to see that you may never see again. But thank you for everyones comments its appreciated.
That's the best way to do it. There is endless low cost amusement to be had searching coins if you are not only focused on big scores.
