WTB: Looking for a 1974 Proof Set Cheap

Looking for a 1974 Proof Set, preferably cheap. I've started my 8 & 9 year old sons off in collecting and recently gave them the proof sets and proof ASEs that I bought when they were born. My wife saw the proof sets that I have for our kids and lamented that she didn't have one and "kind of wished she did." I don't know how serious she was, so I don't want to spend much on one, but does anyone have a 74 set they can part with inexpensively? Thanks

    The first buy it now I looked at on ebay was 10 bucks shipped, aren't they all cheap ?

    The problem with eBay is that you don't know what you are going to get. I have seen sets with coins that are all hazy, the red cardboard insert looks water damaged and the plastic lenses are all scratched up. I figured that here, I would have a lesser chance of buying a problem set. Besides, I would rather buy from a forum member than an unknown on eBay.

    Would if I could. Only 1 shop around and its hours are by appointment. Not going to make him come in for a $10 sale, especially if he doesn't have proof sets in inventory. Why does my request here bother you enough to post twice that I should go elsewhere with my request?

    Well, forget that idea! I just opened up 5 boxes of numisstuff that I packed up before Irma, went to the storage locker in case I put them there, and just now realized that before we moved here from Maryland 3 years ago that I sold them to Golden Eagle before we left. Getting old is hell!
