Is your coin a proof?
The image looks like a business strike.
Its a business strike and the letters look fat but...
Die 4 is a proof.
There does look like something is going on there, but it's not die 4.
May be a different class VI doubled die.
If I'm reading the book right it doesn't say PROOF next to the year.
I think your right sir, I got in there a lil tighter and I guess its just normal or wishful
You're right. I was thinking of die 2.
Now neither do I.
Not a DD... but those second set of pictures are sure great... Cheers, RickO
Thanks Ricko, you are always so insightful. But, you have to agree that T is a fatty and it had me going
Happy Friday!
Great closeups!

CoinscratchFever...What device did you use to capture the closeup? Great job.

@jesbroken ...Thanks Jim. This cheap little jewel, I think I paid 80.00 for it. I have trouble capturing the true colors as the light is blue and if I turn its light down and use the other light sources (unless pointed away) the pics look terrible. And in proof coins you can see the horizontal bar from the reflection. However, I learned in another thread tonight that I need white backgrounds and a different kind of light source as well as camera. So, I guess it is good for close ups though.
