Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
I'm going with 03.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Congrats @markelman1125!
Very nice and generous of you @bobsr!
I am inspired by Paradisefound. It is my New Years Resolution to be more like her.

Very nice gift (not -- "gifted") -- and a pleasant AG coin. (Can you get it away from those threatening staples?)
Awesome! Good-04

it's not nice to look a gift horse in the mouth.
That being said, it looks like a good 06.

Great old CC half.
Well worn but "warm."
I love that look; I grade it G06.
Did I really see someone call a G-6 AG????

@markelman1125- Now that you've had a chance to get input from a dozen or so members here, and you are the only one besides @bobsr to see it in hand, what is your opinion on the grade?
@jedm I believe it is in G condition most likely G4-6 because most people say G4-G6. I have a question for you? Is it worth sending it to be graded?
I would say a G4.
@markelman1125 I will kindly defer from answering that question as I do not think I'm qualified to give a rational answer. I have only twice sent coins to our hosts for grading and both were valued at over $1,000. One of the submissions was a raw purchase (1913 S Barber 25C) and one was cracked out of an ICG holder (IHC 1877) and went from Fine to VG 10.
Edited to add: After looking at values in PCGS I will say no, not worth the grading fees. But a wonderful coin that I - and I'm sure many others here - would enjoy having in their collection.
Define "worth". What are you planning to do with it?
@Batman23 I will keep it as part of my collection and a token of Appreciation for @bobsr
I wouldn't send it in, that's a lot of cost.
As a bit of advice:
When(if) you remove it from the stapled 2x2 don't pull the sides apart, that exposes the staple ends and invites the coin to be scratched. Rather, use a toothpick or other soft(non-metal) pokey thing to puncture the plastic between the edge of the coin and the flip then you can just bend the 2x2 and the coin comes right out.

Then the question for you is would the cost, which would be a large percentage of the coins value, be worth it to you for having it in plastic? For a couple bucks you can by a do it yourself slab. Since selling is not the goal, it comes down to what will make you happy in the long run. I can't answer that for you.
That is a nice old coin, and one that I personally would keep and put in an airtite for protection. Or, you can purchase blank, snap together slabs and put your own label in it. Cheers, RickO
