Congrats they are a nice set of samples.
They can be hard too find
How long did it take you too put them all together.

Was looking through the NNP and stumbled across the Sample Slab Newsletter

    https://archive.org/details/newmannumismatic?and[]=sample+slab+update&sin=&sort=-date&and[]=mediatype:"texts"

Never knew such a thing existed. Does anyone here put that out?

The guy who writes it is named David Schwager. #30 was released yesterday.

David Schwager has written two sample books, I was lucky enough too get one, so much info.
As a reference book on samples it can't be beat. I think it is still availed for sale on PDF file download.

Welcome back. I don't collect samples, but I have found 2 Roosie RPM's in Sample slabs (PCGS) in the last week or so.

@davidschwager is a member here. The pdf of the 2nd edition (2015) is still available and paper copies sometimes come up for sale.

He is still collecting information on sales and new discoveries, but AFAIK he hasn't any firm plans for a 3rd edition of the book (I tell him he should, he says he has a life outside preparing a book, he says I should do it and we let it slide for a couple quarters).

There is another "book" called The Sample Slab, by Isaiah Hageman. It feels more like a document of his personal collection and he's periodically sold .pdf copies on fleaBay. 2nd edition is copyright 2018.

The original book by Conder101 was published in 2003. He posts on several other boards, but not here. There was a paper edition and a CD. A paper copy sold for over $200 at auction beginning of last year. The book can be borrowed - if you are a member - from the ANA library.

I have 6-7 threads on PCGS samples - if you have PCGS material that's not in them, PM me with a picture and I'll update.

Easier to update a thread than a book.
