That was an excellent example of the future of the hobby. YN’s are out there, they are collecting, and they do enjoy the hobby. It was pretty neat how Aaron moved the slabbed coin (1:05) to try and show the pin wheel effect to the camera.
A bright influence in the hobby and a good example. Though my nephews are good in school, etc. they spend too much time on mindless devices. The physical world is a lot more gratifying.
This is great... there are definitely kids out there that have been bitten by the 'coin bug'....Though this young man has certainly gone further than most YN's...Cheers, RickO

It says you joined in 2014. I’m guessing you share the account...
I started collecting at 10 just by going through change and rolls. You have a big headstart. Keep going!
Hello all, The post made in my name at 11:16 AM , Feb. 2 was by
Aaron and his father. They were not familiar with the PCGS Forum.
I showed them the thread and they were very pleased with what all
was said about Aaron. They made a post using my ID. Aaron has a
wide variety of coins to choose from. I found a piece that I bought for
my grandson. Just wanted to set the record straight. I think he has a
bright future in our hobby and when he joins I know we will welcome
him enthusiastically!!

Always great to read/hear a positive article.
Thanks for sharing @GaCoinGuy!
Need to get the kid here on the forum. Surprised he has not found it yet.
That's awesome, but I'd avoid having anything about coin collecting with my name, let alone my kid's, running in the local paper.
Very nice post !!!
Nice article. 11 years old and collecting bust halves. That’s pretty cool!
I met him at a show. He had his own table! His dad was helping him out though.
Did it seem like the coins were owned by the father? Who had a deeper understanding of coins, the father or the son?
I would hope someone was helping him at 11 years old. No matter how good he is.

That's great. I wish I could get to that show to meet him and admire his collection. I'm going to look for him on youtube. Peace Roy

That's great to see, hope he sticks with it and brings some friends into the hobby as well.

Could be... but anyone who gets in to this hobby needs a guiding hand. Makes for a much more enjoyable experience.
I bet he is at the Knoxville coin show this weekend with a table!
We are trying to help him along. The father knows nothing about coins but the local dealers are helping them along.
I'm almost 60 and still waiting.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
