@GinaCarl2018... Welcome aboard..... We cannot give you a truly definitive answer without pictures that accurately reflect their condition (each one, both sides). Without that, the only answer we can offer is the silver value of the coins...Which is presently at about $15.50/troy ounce. Each Peace dollar contains 0.77345 oz troy. This does not consider the possible numismatic value of the coins. Cheers, RickO

If they are circulated coins, maybe $14 or $15. If they are raw uncirculated, $18-$20.
Armed with the price, find a local coin shop. There shouldn't be more than a buck or two difference wholesale to retail which makes it less advantageous to try and find someone to ship them to - no to mention costs associated with selling them yourself.
If you don't have a local coin shop (or pawn), you can try the BST here.

Hi, thanks for your answer. So basically they are worth about $11 each for silver value. I certainly wouldn't be interested in selling them to be melted down. Should I take a picture of each and post that? They are in good condition overall, some are in very good condition. If they aren't worth much, i'll keep em for my grand kids. Thanks again.
You should be able to get over silver value, but the premium is pretty low for circulated Peace $s these days.
If you have a local place, it may be worth bringing them in for a quote. You know not to take $11. So, if you can get close enough to $14 or $15 for circs and you want to take it, go ahead.
You can never go wrong giving them to your grand kids. Either they will develop an interest in coins or history or they will have a keepsake or they will have a few bucks at some later date.
Thanks again very much for your great advice, very much appreciated. Have a great weekend.
Not that they likely make all that much difference in the case of those more common dates when talking melt value, but don't forget to check if any have mint-marks while you're at it, if you end up saving or trading/selling them as collectibles.
