Yes, silver war strike has a melt value around 86 cents. The marks on the obverse are hard to tell, maybe a lamination, but likely pmd.

Looks like a lamination error, but it appears the coin has been heavily polished.
I really don't know, if this coin was polished, but I get change for a grocery store, then I'm found at its 1943 and was already too shiny.
Chrome plated.
That's a great find from change. It is made of silver (silver war nickel).
Circulated silver finds are always great! Value is the joy finding it in circulation. Enjoy!
