Has anyone seen this coin in original packaging? What’s it worth (1/4 ounce gold)?

what does the front look like? I think you'll get a small premium due to the original packaging
Many members on this forum that now it cannot fit in my signature. Please ask for entire list.
I’m not finding any actual prices.
Are there any comps out there?
They must be very uncommon.
Yes, I have seen it. Use to own it. Nice piece of bullion.
Thank you Abuelo! What is their approximate value?
This German PM dealer has it currently in their inventory for 400 Euro: https://aurum-edelmetalle.de/shop/produkt/mexiko-250-pesos-gold-copa-mondial-de-futbol-1986/
You can get it on eBay for $475 USD: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mexico-250-pesos-gold-1985-World-Football-mexico-1986-/332180747058 or for $450 USD: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mexico-250-pesos-gold-1985-World-Football-mexico-1986/332651791949
Coinquest site pretty much states "Mexico issued a couple of designs for their 1985 and 1986 gold 250 pesos. Both contain one-quarter ounce of gold, and that is how much they are worth. There are small variations in price ($10 US dollars or so) depending on condition, appearance, and buyers and sellers commissions. The nominal value is the value of one-quarter ounce of gold." : https://coinquest.com/cgi-bin/cq/coins.pl?coin=17064

Nice !!!
That is great information @TwoKopeiki. I assume the original packaging doesn’t add much if anything to the value. Thank you!
If you are trying to sell it to a dealer it will probably bring a small percentage less than melt. That is probably an accurate valuation.
If you can understand Spanish, they even have a video about the series

I do not think the packaging adds much. But there are proofs on the series, the condition is relevant for a small premium.
BTW that YouTube channel has many videos on Mexican Coinage. They are good and some have subtitles in English.
That video is super cool @Abuelo! Thank you!
