1974, for the same reasons listed as the 78. Captures the classic Reggie swing. Love the green and gold colors, also.
1971 Topps, Black Beauties!!! , Old School Yellow and Green A's uniforms!!!!, Can't go wrong!!!!
I always liked the 1969 Topps Super

@ArmyMan I like this one as well, but mine could use an upgrade.

As a Red Sox fan, I like to think of the 78 card as a whiff.
That pose is a classic though as it showed up on multiple Topps issues.
He was something else growing up and watching him in the 70's and 80's.

Yeah, the '70 is a special favorite of mine. Great photo, taken in the same place he'd make so much history just a few years later.
I also really like the '75. Who was it here who said he looked like Hank Williams Jr. in the photo? I laughed about that for a week afterwards.
Great thread. Most of the 78 and prior Reggies’s are real nice. Love the 75 and 77.
As a Red Sox fan as well, it never occurred to me that 78 card wasn't a whiff. I mean, all the people in the stands are still looking at home plate, not the outfield.
And being a Sox fan also makes this my favorite Reggie Jackson card:
As a kid the AL All Star 1979 was a very cool card. Something about the way the sun reflected off the helmet and the cool sunglasses he wore. There are certainly "better" cards photo wise earlier in his career, which I can admit now(70,71,74,75,78)...but you could not have convinced this 9 year old at the time!
