FUN 2019 HA.com auction

Just noticed an old friend brought strong money (for the current market) today:

Lot #4093 - 1935-S PCGS MS67RD CAC 1c $14,400!

Perhaps a couple of bidders thought this one could become the first MS67+RD?
Anyhow, congratulations to the winner. Enjoy!!

Since when do Peace Dollars get a RD designation? ;)

    1c, as in Lincoln 1c.

The Lincolns in this sale are bringing strong money, I was blown out on all that I bid on.

Several "common " date Lincoln Cents in uncommon condition brought "too much" money.
Apparently the coins spoke for themselves.

I wouldn't have spent that much on a common cent, even in that grade, but I will not chastise anyone else for doing so, if that's what they like.

It's good for the market and the hobby.

From the numbers posted by Fairlaneman lots of money is being spent on many common date coins (in uncommon condition) at the FUN auction across many series. Good or bad that is the case.
