That was a devastating ending after getting that kick return.

You change avatars' like Elizabeth Taylor changes husbands.
Maybe you and Grand Am can work out a bet next weeK..
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
If the Chiefs lose I see no reason to add insult to injury by having to change avatars.
And yes, I'm too chicken to make that bet.
If the Chiefs do lose I'm sure when I wake up the next morning Andrew Luck will be on my
box of Wheaties just like Russell Wilson was when he beat KC. That's punishment enough.
Galaxy, here is to you bud 🍻
One helluva crazy ending.
That missed kick reminded me of the pinball machines i used to always play.
i like to kid around as everyone here knows, but I'm serious on this for sure...hats off to the Bears, one of the top NFL franchises of all time, always classy, and a very respectable season that just fell short.
The Bears history is loaded with great players. And of course we shall never forget the 1985 Bears, in my opinion the greatest single season NFL team of all time.
ok that didn't work. even tried shots of paint thinner and old school turpentine. alas, i guess i have to talk about the game now.
the only saving grace is that it's not 1979 -- the year i became a CB fan. enduring a loss like that as a 7-year-old undoubtedly would have bordered on traumatic. for those unfamiliar with Parkey, it's been an adventure all season long when the ball has left his foot. he banged the upright 4 damn times in one game earlier this year. he missed 10 total kicks on the season. but prior to the final drive, he had been money. and that scared the hell out of me, because i knew with every kick he made, the line of demarcation for tempting fate was getting closer and closer. when the Eagles iced him at the last second and he followed thru, i yelled "please go wide left!!!!!" nope. of course it split the uprights.
true story: during the timeout i downed 3 shots of baby guinness (coffee patron + bailey's......highly recommend) for the aforementioned reasons. i had an overwhelming feeling that something lamentable was about to happen, and i at least wanted to be feeling good when it did. but drilling the upright, hitting the crossbar and having it land on the wrong side? had i known that was going to happen i would've picked up my patron bottle and started chugging it. i didn't think even Cody Parkey could do that. with the way his season has gone, it would have been the best possible karma for that ball to smooch the ground on the other side. but to no avail. que será, será. or kay sara sara. whichever you prefer.
no more av bets for me. i suck at them, and frankly i'm tired of changing. back to J.R. i will go (and stay) after this. i've touted Foles for a while now, so a part of me feels like i need to keep this one up until the run ends. when it comes to raw talent, he'll never be confused with Carson Wentz. but the guy just has a knack for making fortuitous things happen when they shouldn't. the "it" factor, if you will. he's possesses it, and that's what i've been clamoring about for months. that game-winning drive.......that game-winning throw on 4th down..........against my vaunted D...............with the season on the line.........all i am going to say is that i hope all Philly fans appreciate this cat for everything he has done for the organization in a subsidiary role. it's nothing short of remarkable, and all i can do is tip my cap.
deuces, off to bed i now go.
