Just in case your house burns down and you’re collection is kinda melted together then here’s some information you might be able to use. Yes, the tools you’ll need to get your slabs outta the boxes. Better yet here’s a couple of pics 
Please pay no attention to my rusted destroyed tools. It’s all I have to work with. This isn’t even half of my collection.
As a footnote you can also use a VERY loyal rat terrier to chew through those suckers

Lots and lots of burnt coins from my other safe. One bucket has the coins I’ve picked out and the other two buckets are coins in ashes that need to be looked thru. At the fun show coming up anyone I run in to from this forum I’ll be passing them out. Many different denominations. Bear in mind they are very well burnt up, but uncirculated
. At least as many as I can carry without my pants falling down.
I truly do wish everyone here on this forum the best this world has to offer.

My favorite coin is actually in a NGC holder. It’s my 1921 buffalo nickel I bought from my good friend, Andy , at Angel Dee’s. But as you might guess it’s also melted and I can’t see it. It’s this coin....

Joe, certainly 2019 will be a better year for you. Your loss of many great coins in 2018 is not only your loss but a loss for collectors in the future. Your great pictures establish the significance of your herd and your great herd of Buffs may never be replicated.
While you may never be able to replace your loss, you have a great eye for great coins and we all look forward to your new acquisitions.

I gotta say this is without question the weirdest thing I’ve ever done with my coins. I have to literally use a hammer and a chisel to unstick the slabs and to get the slabs out of the boxes. Some won’t come out at all as they as fused to the blue box. This mostly happened to the slabs in the blue boxes closest to the door of my safe. Unfortunately one of my double eagles are now in such a state. I don’t want to go further at this point so I’ll turn it over to the professionals and hope they’ll have a remedy .
I can not tell you how grateful I am to PCGS and NGC for helping me with this venture.

My family and I all celebrated Christmas together as always. We are are heathy and more than ready to put this behind us and move forward. All of our pets made it just fine. Although my dogs miss there home, as we all do, they are treating it like some long adventure. As long as they are with me they don’t really care so much. But, when I leave it’s another story.
All is as well as can be.

Campfire fire" These could be a treasure and a monument to the Indomitable will of the American peoples desire to survive.. Your positive attitude reminds me of a story about a shoe salesperson sent to a third party country. After a few weeks, he sent an email home " Send me a return Ticket right away, no one here has shoes. Another salesperson was sent in his stead.
