Hello to all,
I got this today and hope it a DDO and not die fatigue. Thanks

I thought the 2019 doubled die was on the Philadelphia cent, not Denver...
In any case, your excellent pics show some doubling, but just curious as to what makes you think doubled die instead of mechanical doubling?
Looks like MD to me.
Looks like Die Deterioration doubling
Well This picture show real doubling and at some point I wasn't sure due to lack of experience if I had a doubling or if it was die deterioration as I mention post die fatigue. Thanks to all appreciate you feed back.
Hunting for varieties can be a very fun and rewarding endeavor, but it is important to know what is truly a variety. you help me to discern the difference between doubled die A+
Looks like machine doubling.
I will be sending this penny to John Wesler to take a look at it. Here a list of new updated discovery.on-line site! The most recent updates to this site were made on October 2, 2018.
The most recent updates to this website include: The addition of information for the following doubled die varieties: 1987 1¢ WDDO-004, 2004 1¢ WDDO-002, 2015 1¢ WDDO-004, 2016 1¢ WDDR-002, 2018 1¢ WDDO-001, 2004-P 25¢ WI WDDR-024, 2015-P 25¢ NE WDDO-001, 2015-P 25¢ NE WDDR-172, 2016-P 25¢ WV WDDR-069 through 2016-P 25¢ WV WDDR-079, 2017-P 25¢ MO WDDO-001, and 2017-P 25¢ MO WDDR-007 through 2017-P 25¢ MO WDDR-011.
Your coin probably does have "doubling", but that does not make it a doubled die. Most coins with doubling have "mechanical doubling".
Also, the list of Wexler updates above lists a 2018 cent, but yours is 2018 D. The 2018 doubled die cent was already mentioned on another thread a few weeks ago and the doubling is very subtle and mostly shows as extra thick lettering.
That coin has machine doubling (or mechanical doubling... same thing)....Keep searching...Cheers, RickO
