Seth congrats on your dream I really do hope you do well and from the sound of the area you will. I have only been there once in the late 80s at the Presidio and what a beautiful place. Had a fun time there!

I dunno if the genuises are doing this at the right time. If they build it for non coin people they might have a chance.
Who ever said Whitter is the new model for high powered match ups, PLEASE.........He will never be a me or David Akers because you can't build the sets we did. The coins do not exists anymore.
BUT they probably can buy nice from the area.
Did you destroy the coins after you bought them? How do the coins not exist anymore?
And please, at least learn to spell Witter if you’re going to publically bash them
Wow, very exciting for you. Best of everything, wish I was still in the city. Had a house on Steiner St. Just off Union, back in the day. Then 14th and Guerrero St., then up to San Anselmo to chill. Great memories. Peace Roy
Congrats, Seth - hoping for great success for you as you deserve it!
Who's the new partner everyone else seems to know??
"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." (Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. (Putin 1/17) Gone but not forgotten. IGWT, Speedy, Bear, BigE, HokieFore, John Burns, Russ, TahoeDale, Dahlonega, Astrorat, Stewart Blay, Oldhoopster, Broadstruck, Ricko, Big Moose.
Best of luck Seth... though from all indications, you are bringing more than luck to the endeavor. San Francisco is a great city and a major tourist destination. I lived in Mountain View, CA for a couple of years...just a short drive into the city. Great restaurants too...I liked Northern CA much more than the LA area...Cheers, RickO

Seth is a classy guy and if anybody can do it...it is him. Nothing but the best to him and his team. I will make a trip out west when it is done. Good luck and happy New Years to the future.

Actually , I will comment-they are a bunch of mis guided dreamers.
Someone always thinks they are smarter.
It may be fun and cute to get a jab in to feel good and sound cool....
But what if they really are smarter?
Then what happens? I will be standing by waiting for more of your foolish under-breath and jumping the gun comments while stepping in dog poop and walking on a white rug at every twist and turn. Enjoy!
Best of luck to Seth and make sure to post up a wall of shame in the store for the criminals and creeps. Don’t forget to add @specialist as the first honorary member.
I'm excited to see the finished and stocked displays and start hearing reviews of the shop! @SethChandler or @Perfection do you have an idea of a target date for the new location opening?
Wow. Amazing how quickly 18 months can go. It’s fun to think what I THOUGHT would happen with the new location and what actually happens. That’s what makes life so much fun, you never know what’s around the corner - just need to have an open mind and adapt.

Thanks for the update but I don't understand. What did you think would happen and what has actually happened?
From what was posted in the original post, things sounded great and I was looking forward to seeing the new store. In the current climate I can see where things may have come somewhat unglued.
I stopped by the shop last week. Everyone was welcoming and Seth and Ben showed me a high end 75-S 20c piece. Worth a visit if you ever find yourself in SF. Lots of nice restaurants and shops within walking distance as well.

Good to hear. With all the money there they should do well.
When I visited there a couple years ago was horrified of what apt rents for.
I can’t imagine the overhead on a shop / store there. Best of luck.
You go, Seth. And go BiG!
It looks like they also sell jewelry, which should help.
Unless you go via 280 / 19th, which is usually better if you are starting from south of SFO.

Probably a good idea; however, I do miss your no-nonsense, opinions in the past that are delivered in that "special" way you have.

Any update on the status of the move to the new location?
I'm excited to see the finished and stocked displays and start hearing reviews of the shop! @SethChandler or @Perfection do you have an idea of a target date for the new location opening?
Does anyone know when the opening of the new Lombard Street location will be?
We are looking to move in about two months right now. Getting closer for sure!
Partner @Gold Hill Coin
Looking forward to it.
Looking forward to it! Great to see something new in the bay.
Is the new location open? If so, anyone been in there yet?
Two weeks ago I was driving on Lombard Street and saw the new location. Still being remodeled and it did not look like it was close to being finished.
I should have visited last time I was in SF
