I'm thinking no. There's only one S/S in the Peace dollar series that's convincing, and that's the 1927-S VAM 4, which shows a clearly notched upper serif of the S. Many mint marks on Peace dollars show ejection damage or die fatigue doubling, since they're so far out from the center of the coin. The mint mark on your coin is set high, so I'm going to guess it's a 26-S.
