My last acquisition. 1923 P VAM 1A picked on eBay for $40. Never had an opportunity to see it in the wild, let alone buy one, so I pulled the trigger. Looks to be AU to low MS (I still can't grade Peace Dollars!)
I posted to the 'favorite purchase' thread a week or two ago, thinking I'd only bought one coin in 2018. But it turns out I bought two! This one came from right here on the BST. It was pretty much an impulse buy; it's a lot better than the 3CN in my type album, and seemed like too nice a coin to pass up at the price.
How many "last coin" threads are there?
I just ordered this yesterday so I'd have to say this one. Just liked the contrast and FH dollars really don't have a lot of detail under 35-40 anyhow.

I thought I was done for the year but a surprise from Dan Carr popped the other day. He repurchased from previous buyers and offered just 4 for sale. What else could I do?
