Moved into 6th Place with these 2 New Washington Quarters.

This is my 6th year of working on putting this set together (Ten Year Plan) and now down to 40 coins left out of 185. First coin up is the 1936 DDO 101 in MS 64
This coin comes from the Phillips Collection as he upgraded to a MS 66 coin. John and I have swapped several coins over the past 3 years and have become good friends. Its another reason to reach out to collectors in your series. Population of 30 coins and 14 of those in MS. Excuse my picture and hope to get a bunch of my set professionally imaged this next year.
Second Coin was just purchase from The Heritage Beverly Hills Auction. 1938 MS 67 and cac .
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Enjoy Tom

I love looking at your Washington’s. That is my favorite series and you are doing a great job tracking down all these scarce varieties. Congrats!
Fantastic!
Those are great examples.
Sixth place is quite admirable, as well.
Keep it up and way to go!!
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

That 1938 P is a luster bomb. Tougher than folks think. Nice Washington's.
Congratulations on your accomplishment and your two new acquisitions.
Congrats on the move up, some great looking new additions.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
You da man, Tommy. Sincere congratulations!
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
Nice set! How are your eyes holding up after looking for all those varieties?! 🤓
Nice coins... I like the '38, excellent detail. A little dark for me, but within the range for a coin like that. Cheers, RickO
Beautiful examples. Love the look of both. Congratulations!
Thanks for sharing!
Any top ten set in a series this popular is HUGE!
Great additions!
This.
Congratulations Tom on your new acquisitions. I love the 34 DDO.

Very nice coins, congrats, thanks for posting
Thanks Everyone for the Nice Comments. Every year since I started this set it just keeps getting more Fun. My eyesight is Great with a strong Loupe.
Jay I was the underbidder on the 1934 ddo and my bet is that coin will show up again as the seller keeps bidding on his own coin and he is not going to get me to pay more. It's been on Heritage twice now and my bet is it will show up again.
Happy Holidays.....
