Old Holder Pick-ups

Hi Folks,
I recently was able to pick up 2 old holdered Barber halves. I am not strongly collecting these, but when they are this good for their grade in old holders and O-mint, happy to add them to my collection. Over the decades it would be nice to have a complete AU collection of O-mint Barber halves. But I am going to be picky and the halves have to be perfect. And older holders would be nice...... These come from a well known dealer who participates on these boards who seeks out the old holdered, pq for the grade, type coins. He has never done me wrong as his eye is sharp and you can trust what has listed online.
Happy Holidays!

Now I don't know silver toning well, but both of those scream original to me. Very nice.
both coins are winners! thanks for sharing
Both are really fantastic halves! Careful now....don’t get hooked.

Alas I can't afford to get hooked without refraining to add examples on another facet of the collection.......

Great looking coins. Love the idea of zero mint™ barbers in AU.

I like them both. The 1892 a little more.
Very nice Barbers.
To me the Au 55 looks a bit better than the Au 58 👍
Very nice looking. What does OGH & Fatty mean?

OGH stands for old green holder. It is the older PCGS holder whith a green label insert.
Fatty means an old NGC slab that was a lot thicker and fatter than the current ones. They also call them soap bars.

Your right to be a picky as can be after decades of collecting great pick ups .... both of them
Nice! The first one (AU55) looks better than many of today's 58s.
