Lol, funny enough... Bochimnan has a post on here asking for investment advice!
I think hes asking a group of diversified folk who, for the most part are successful, for ideas rather than advice.
Of course he is... still funny though and I like to bust his balls every now and then.
cohodk is correct about why I did what I did. Although, the way you phrased it, I honestly found it insulting, but, hey, do what you have to do I guess.
In the other thread, I asked about something very specific, that I don't have much knowledge in (funds). Not just "investing advice", but call it what you will and laugh at what you will.
I've lost more money NOT investing than I have on my investments. Passed on a penny stock at 0.002 that is now 0.027, and passed on another that was 0.99 and is now $2.65. All prices are YTD...
When the deal is final and it stops trading:
1. All cash would mean the gain/loss is fixed for the rest of the time
2. Stock is given would mean the new stock would trade in the portfolio

Pretty good, close to a double.
A long way to go, though.

Dang, there's no life in my LIFE.
Not sure if I can catch overdate ....
I picked a volatile stock, no guarantee it will stay up during the rest of the year.

Wish I went with last year's pick (PLUG), up around 125% this year so far... Thta's what I get for trying to not be boring.
It's still early comrade. Meanwhile, don't look over your shoulder... ;-)
oh, I know....how I know....
Volatility is great for show. My dull blue chip selection will prevail in December.
Ahem!

I just need to make the pic.
This weekend was tax weekend. Why does Maine require so much paperwork for so little money?
My unofficial pick is now @ $31.94

still dead last, and down another 17%.
Last if good too. I was close last year but a late bump up on Sears ruined it.

Hey comrade q, hey buddy, for my money's sake, I hope you win. ;-) Check your mirror though...
I'm sure it was just coincidence. Ha
What is the difference?

I would like to double down please.
I think you're #1 as of this moment, KIQ up 17% and over 110% since January.
Cool.
Bochiman wants any more investment advice...it is now $400 an hour.

Better get this on standby.

Yeah, well I can undercut your rate. I'd go maybe $65/hr. You get what you pay for.
P.S., nah - make it an even $100. A guy has to eat.
I knew it would happen.

I think I need to start pulling quotes before 4, to get good quotes after 4
So, what happens when a company is bought out on one of these things?
