1965 quarter. Is this a die crack or this something someone done. Looks ingraved cracked?

The line appears incuse and the metal pushed up along the line. If so, then it is probably a heavy PMD scratch.
If there is no metal pushed up then it might be strike through something?
Think it is a worn heavy scratch.
I'm afraid that looks like a looooong scratch.

Deep scratch
It is nothing more than a deep scratch on a well circulated coin.
I can understand the scratch. But what about the crack.
A scratch with a thinner scratch on top is a scratchy scratch. Time to study up. Peace Roy

Where is the crack you see?
That is PMD ... a deep scratch that has been worn a bit by handling in commerce. Cheers, RickO
