SOLD
Tied with eight other examples for finest certified at PCGS. There are another three MS66 examples at ICCS as of their 2016 report. This coin is amazing. Light coppery color with hints of lavender on the reverse. An early impression from the dies with flashy fields and a bit of contrast. Strike is full. Pictures hardly do it justice. Almost certainly from the "Heaton Hoard" of the mid-1970s.
This coin (and other coins and medals) is available on a new website I have been working on. https://www.jacoblipsonrarecoins.com/inventory/

Nice coin and nice website, Jacob! Good to see you around these parts. Folks I can recommend Jacob very highly as a young man of deep knowledge and sterling integrity. Not that he needs any help from me ...
Kind regards,
George

yes, I know it could possibly be.
BUT I like to find them raw and go from there. Normally go for Key dates or varieties... also in raw.
Have a few NFL, some right up there with yours. And no, I do not belong to any: "post your highest grade " clubs.
But, I might just post one or two some day in the future.
Not anymore!! Beautiful coin, I love it.
