Medal turn in the case of your coin is when the top of Washington’s Head is opposite the eagle’s head on the reverse.
Coin turn will have the top of Washington’s head opposite the claws of the eagle on the reverse.
I have no idea if it’s worth more. You would have to ask a dealer that specializes in that. I personally collect pre-1807 coins and the dies, moreso with with colonials, rotated all over the place. In other words, I will not pay a premium or sell at a premium early dated coins if it is struck from rotated dies.
Thank you all for your time and your feed back. I will post better pics shortly. Im not wanting to sell or make money. I have a collection of coins i find and one of proofs and uncirculated. Its nothing much yet but with time and wisdom i hope to have a beautiful collection one day. I could only imagine a set of coins that old and unique. Lucky man. Thanks again guys.
If genuine, a very rare error.
Question: if you drop this coin and a normal coin on a hard surface one after the other, do they sound the same?

There is no trickery to it. Its genuine. I know im no expert, but if someone could humor me , could someone give a ballpark of rarity and possible value? Its not in great shape, its just for my own personal pride. Lol
Nice find.
The site rotateddies.com lists a 1985-P Washington quarter with a 180 degree rotated reverse as an estimated R6 (13 - 20 known). This is a great site for info on rotated dies. Hope this helps.

You can find R6 Rotated Die’s in the $20-30 range. Only R7 & R8 are worth good money. I’ve used this website for years. The website hasn’t been updated in years.
I believe a 180 Degree RR Quarter would
be worth more than $30.
I'd estimate it's retail value, XF/AU, would be
closer to $100-$125. More, if it were Choice BU, imo.

Check to see if it is a trick/magician coin by checking for seams on the edge or along the rim.
Hard to tell with your pic but the reverse of the coin along the reeding on the edge looks suspect...
Edit to add:

Ive checked but found no Tampering
Need clear pics of obverse, reverse, and edge.
Ill get them up asap
Alignment error is possibility of coin is real. Sharper images of obv, rev and edge please. Peace Roy

The reflection in the mirror will show a reversed reverse.
How about a pic of the reverse straight on, without the mirror.
The reflection indicates a rotated die error... We will be able to help more with better pictures. Cheers, RickO
If the coin is a genuine coin, I would think that a 180 degree rotation on the reverse is very uncommon in my humble opinion. Welcome to the forum!

It would appear to be a medal reverse (rotated die). I concur on better, clear images.

Some potential options:
1) magicians coin (hollow or reversible)
2) counterfeit
3) major rotated die error
All 3 are nice finds. but #3 is by far the best.
There is no trickery to it. Its genuine. I know im no expert, but if someone could humor me , could someone give a ballpark of rarity and possible value? Its not in great shape, its just for my own personal pride. Lol
