Merry Christmas to all.

Sold a 1986 silver $1 commemorative that I paid $650 for in 2009 on ebay for $75. The buyer returned it because the 32 year old coin wasn't as blast white as he preferred and thought my photo showed a whiter coin.
Merry Christmas all.

He's dreaming of a Blast White Christmas, just like the ones he used to know.
Happy Holidays!
Merry Christmas
Sounds like a ms70 that has since exploded in population...Maybe a modern dealer would make a fair offer?
Well as you have the coin back you didn't take a loss
To make you feel better a (maybe not so good?) friend of mine just rubbed salt in the wound by giving me an update. A comic book I bought for a $100 or $200 and flipped for $800 about 30 years ago is now worth just under $47K
While I do not know the specific coin in this case, I would say it appears you did well to get it back..... Perhaps there is a buyer out there with more cash for a worthy coin. Cheers, RickO
OMG, anyway Merry Christmas !!!
