Been working with my other investment sectors lately and haven't really felt the need to add anything, so I haven't had much to share with the class lately.
But I've been thinking about Christmas, too. So I went back to the same jeweler who made my 5-troy ounce, .9999 pure gold necklace a few months back and asked him to create a custom piece for my wife for Christmas.
I was able to tell him the exact size, shape, design, finish, and of course purity (.9999 24k gold). On Monday I received the express package.
47+ gram (just over 1.5 troy ounces) pure 24k gold bangle bracelet with this subtle sandblasted finish:

Added anything cool lately yourself?

@Weiss.... Very nice.... Being pure gold, it will have to be worn with care, since it will deform quite easily....but will also 're-form' as well.....Cheers, RickO
Outstanding, Weiss!
Some government issue metal....Holiday style. There was more on the order, but the rest was shipped a few days later.

Picked up two rolls of these a week ago. Pretty good rendition of the Texas Commemorative.

Hey if anyone wants to have a custom piece of gold jewelry made for your significant other (or yourself!), PM me and I'll send my guy's name and address. He can take custom orders through the 14th or 15th of December and still get something to you before Christmas.

That is awesome @Weiss, your wife must be a special person.
I got these Sterling Silver Forks with the L monogram each net over an Oz of pure...
The toned Silvertowne bar with a cool SN
and the 1/20 Palladium DC coin ...
This is the good stuff
It's all about what the people want...
@LukeMarshall very nice!

I had a fun week.
2 tubes of eagles from a co-worker at $15oz. 10 Englehard rounds at $15.50 and a 1928 quarter eagle for melt + $20.

I picked up a couple little Pamp bars for gifts and grabbed a couple MPM 2 ozers for myself. The tiny poured loaf bars are 1/2" thick.
Picked this up last week.
This is my favorite type of collectible bullion. Extruded trapezoid bar with clean, clear and evenly placed hallmark headstamp, weight and fineness.
I like that one! And the color is just right! Good pick up!

I also picked this up yesterday at my friends shop. Sums me up pretty well. I live in the Black Hills and I prospect and mine. We were looking through is pile of better rounds and I saw this one. Now I already have one of these but mine didn’t have this gold flake soldered to it or any sign that one was there before. I asked my pal if he’d part with it and after he shrugged (he prospects as well and we’ve spent many an outing together) I threw out a number he was cool with.
@WildIdea....I really like that prospector round....I have done a fair amount of panning and MD'ing for nuggets... That would be a good one for me to get as well. Cheers, RickO
