Hits across the chest would disqualify this coin from MS65 status in my opinion.
As for color and luster, you have to see the coin in hand, do NOT rely on glamour shots.
I'm betting the reverse looks a lot darker in hand - is this true? For that reason plus the hits in a prime focal area would lead me to pass on this one.

The reverse is lighter and both the obverse and reverse are quite flashy
With regard to the hits on Ms Dora Dosher's right breast unless you have 10 power magnifier eyes you can't notice them.
Meaning you need a glass
As far as glamour shots , That is not a glamour shot "Commemdude" It's only really lusterous in hand.
I appreciate all you guys/gals and I mean that. _**
I agree.
It is a stunning coin and the strike seems Strong! I would be proud to own it. I think the contact marks add character and authenticity (it was made as a coin, and became a Work of art.

I can overlook the marks. That's some remarkable sunrise... or sunset.... toning on a beautiful design.
The toning on this coin adds to the coin's spatial depth. Appropriately, it looks like 100 years old, but importantly it looks like a 100 year old coin should look. Too bad about the dings on Miss Liberty's breast, but women should not be portrayed as perfect in any case. Reminds me that even perfect women have defects........get over it.
Don't necessarily agree, but toned coins tend to be imaged to best advantage. Even in hand, appearance will change based on lighting and angle to the light.

I like the toning a lot, however the obverse marks are bothersome especially for a coin that is a better grade.
The hits on her chest would bother me a little but I like the look.

I am really not so sure that's the "Prime Focal Area" , but I will check my grading guide
Yeah, they're in there. I'm a right leg man myself
The tollhouse cookie toning is pretty. Forget the hits. Go for the overall beauty.
I love the color!
Do not like the gashes
Beautiful Autumn colors
Looks juiced.
I like it and the marks don't bother me.
I could live with it. It really matters if you like it or not.

Lady liberty looks good. Cannot do anything about the marks someone did to her, but she looks very stately.
Did she get a FH?

Commems and Early Type
love the color and the coin. Would look great in a Dansco Type Set.
A few small contact marks can hardly be considered as being damage. Overall, I like this coin a lot.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.
It's ok, but would keep looking .JMO.
Not a fan of the toning or the contact marks.
We are all looking at it in magnified pics. At normal size, the small hits aren’t hearly as noticeable.
Not a fan of tarnish... and definitely not on this SLQ...To me, it looks like tobacco juice. Cheers, RickO
I absolutely love it. Thanks for sharing

@Soldi I'm glad it has the luster you speak of. It must be a winner and you are pleased - so that is all that matters. Truly, am happy for you!
Orange Juice?
I like it! But I'm a sucker for toning, and other things...
I can overlook the marks. That's some remarkable sunrise... or sunset.... toning on a beautiful design.
I don’t like the hits but the toning is attractive.
I like the toning but I think that I'd be bothered by the contact marks.

It's not a color combination (reds and golds) that are often sought. Nice coin otherwise.
