I like that it is a later die state of the O-101a (Tomkins 7), on the reverse you can see the faint crack between the second S in STATES and the leaf tip, as well as stronger cracks near OF. (And of course the main crack between D and S)
My guess is VF25

XF40 $ is $14,400 - $22,800.
Seems like a nice chunk of change for a pretty available date coin .
As i am typing there are OVER 50 available on Ebay .
PCGS pop for 35 & 40= 30 coins
Add 45, then it zooms to 36.
Very nice. I think VF30. I'm not sure if they'd give it a "details" grade because of the vertical scratches on the obverse, but all in all.... it's a beautiful coin.

Those scratches are mm adjustment marks. Our host gave it a straight grade.

Ahhh... thanks for the info! Then, I'm still in the VF30 camp, and I still think it's a beautiful coin...

VF 35 perhaps XF 40 depending how it looks in hand. Tough coin. The adjustment marks are in the wrong spot for my liking and kills the eye appeal for me.

VF30 or VF35.

Interesting choice for a gtg.

I’ll say 30

Circulated cameo toning on XF surfaces (if weakish strike). Otherwise VF30.

Not scratches! Adjustment marks from the mint! Totally normal (if not desireable)!
Love it 35 it is!
30 here.

I'm at a healthy VF-30. I'm not normally a fan of circulated coins, but this one has a beautiful look to it!! I really like it.
1794! Just amazing; Washington was alive.
Not only was he alive, he was President in his second term of office.
