CCF..........gone....now back up

For those that were vistors of the Coin Community Family (CCF), it appears the owner of the site has had it:
coincommunity.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=3
The CCF was once a great forum, but, over the past couple of years, the moderators became beholden to the so called hoity-toity. Covering-up for their scams and so forth. Buh-Bye CCF:

I never visited that site but should we brace ourselves for an influx of "spammers and unstable people"?

My Washington Quarter Registry set...in progress
That's where I got my coin forum start. Haven't been there in probably 5 years though.
Its up and running when I click that

Try clicking on ANY of the options on the home page, I get the following message:
All systems go at the moment. I used to spend time over there. They have some knowledgeable early copper geeks that hang around the site.
Smitten with DBLCs.
Smitten with DBLCs.
Show me a screen shot from ANY of the forum links.....they are GONE for me.
Wow - thx for posting. I used to drop by once in a while.
I never noticed any "spammers and unstable people" - maybe I was one of them?
I forget which one - but some years ago another big forum shut down and a lot of those people went to CCF. Now that one is gone.
Haven't been there for a while but it works fine for me-I was able to log in.
Site apparently retains full function for those who do Not get the Closed message.

Site still works for me. Logged in and everything. Show recent posts, etc. Maybe they are jumping on the ban wagon, and you got unlucky?
I haven't checked over there in a while, but seems like plenty of active posters today.
Maybe they banned you and that's how they deal with it. Link works for me too but i'm not a member.

Maybe you are one of the "unstable people" and that's why you can't see anything anymore
Just Kidding. I couldn't help myself.
Very odd...maybe that message was from a hacker who temporarily took over the site?
I'd like to see more on this. The OP's. screenshot clearly shows the URL.
Just tried again and now It takes me to the site. Apparently they changed their minds. lol
Sad to hear that. Didn't visit often but the had some very interesting info.
Looks OK to me.

IP filter (black/white list) gone temporary haywire?
I'm curious what this comment was about?
Dang, glad I never stumbled onto that POS website.
It has, along with another site, good content (resources) if you can find it.
It does. CCF is a great resource.
It worked for me !!!
I was never a member there....just three sites that I visit... have to draw the line somewhere or would be on the computer all day...
Cheers, RickO
Like the antithesis of TDN's :
Never been there. Never done that.

Working for me. I rarely use it, though -- usually only when I'm summoned for a VAM question. The site is rather hard on the eyes, and I have enough forums to keep track of with this one, CoinTalk, and being the VAMWorld admin.

Works fine for me. I visit there on occasion - I know there are members that crosspost there. I dislike the organization of that forum’s categories - it’s like they partition everything to such a degree that it segments the community and makes it difficult to know where to find things. Way too much moving topics - poster child for overactive mod interaction to the detriment of the overall community. I also dislike the way the forum looked - too circa 2005. Other than that there are some good people over there. Probably fewer big hitters but more an Everyman forum.
It seems to appeal more to newbies with questions about common wheaties, etc. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Umm... I think we have already seen more than a few in recent months.

Makes you wonder why they would have something like that ready to go at a moments notice..
