The dirty 'gunk' is solid into the coin material. Georges' head has wings. It certainly has a lot going on. Would love to read your thoughts. Thanks

    That coin has seen better days. Too cruddy/damaged. Even if there was something it would only be worth face.

    I stared at it long enough it looks like a parrot. Mango perhaps. :) probably PMD. Worth .25 cents.

    Environmental damage... acetone may remove the deposited material... It does look like George's head has sprouted wings ... ;) Cheers, RickO
