The new price broke the previous record of Rs63,600 per tola reached on October 5, 2012

"The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has projected a double-digit inflation at 14% by June 2019."

Insurance premiums are rising in Pakistan.

    We've been told many times... by whom?? ..
    That it's not the gold price that fluctuates, it's the fiat currency.

    Most likely also true in Venezuela or any other country with a high inflation rate. You forgot to mention, that most staples also followed golds lead.
