Here is a 1936 counterfeit buffalo nickel, supposedly made from lead....
pretty crude....

    looking at the legs I guess this is a one and 1/2 and 1/2 and 1/2 legged variety!!

    Made of lead... hmm... make a hole in it and attach to a fishing line so it can be of positive use.

    Pretty amateurish effort there - looks like a shop project not a serious effort at making something passable.
