As a new green going on yellow collector. I would like to say hello to everyone, that include Collectors Universe.

My, that is a BIG photo.
No expertise here, but just an observation. The G is shiny on the side next to the O/D and appears to have some damage from being struck or indented. Could this have also pushed against the O and distorting it to look like a D?

@acadien...Welcome aboard.... It is Post Mint Damage (PMD) as stated above... careful observation will show you that the G has been hit at the point close to the O, causing deformation of the letter. Cheers, RickO
