I got this cheap ($14.99 delivered) digital microscope off of eBay. It certainly doesn't compare with better scopes, but for $15 the downside risk is tolerable. The pics below were taken with it.

Good images.
I bought one similar (may even be the same one) and I have been fairly happy.
The plastic parts will break and you will have to jury rig it up after a while but for $15 it is worth it.

Cool pics... the link OP doesn't work for me, but the second one does. I like that set up. I have an add on to my phone that uses the camera function. Not great for coins...
