Current trends

The popularity of certain series of coins raises and lowers throughout the years. What would you say are the current most popular coins or seires of coins collected now? Also what are the least popular?

    Jefferson Nickels are still quite unpopular. I like that for the most part, as it has allowed me to build a respectable registry set for a fraction of what almost any other series might cost.

    From my perspective it seems like Walking Liberty and Buffalo are popular along with most early 1900s era coinage. Lincoln cents seem to pull decent numbers for keys and varieties.

    The most popular is likely still Lincoln cents.... with Buffs gaining in popularity. The least popular would be three cent nickels and SBA's. Cheers, RickO
