I don't really know why. It looked pretty and seemed cheap.

    Beautiful 1830....congrats!

Looks like the O-107 and I’m guessing 45-50, depending on the luster.

Nice coin. How much of a spread is there in the next higher grade, especially with the green bean? It would seem that AU55 Bust 50cs are well worth looking for.

That is a nice coin... strike/detail are excellent....That would be a keeper for me... Cheers, RickO

@FadeToBlack .... Yes it is dark... but it has a quality strike and the dark silver is more - IMO - due to accumulated grunge than typical tarnish... Certainly a debatable opinion... Cheers, RickO

No idea. It'll go to CAC with some other stuff soon. I'm just pleased I filled a hole in my type set for an affordable price... I feel bad for the seller, he clearly was in a bad spot and had to sell to raise funds. I believe he paid $1,000 for this coin at the end of August. So suffice to say, I am pretty sure I could sell it for more down the road.

It looks from Coinfacts like a $400 coin or so unless it is a much better Overton (corrected).

    Very nice O.107
My 107a for comparison, with lots of die cracks:
