What did you get this week? Stopped at my favorite LCS yesterday and looked through the generic bin. He has a box of 1oz. bars and rounds that he was selling for .50 over spot. Lots of newer JM bars, but digging through I found an older one and this Engelhard. Also picked up a roll of Mercs and Walkers.

Ive been busy picking scrap, tough finding much lately as a few others locally have started doing the same at a few of my normal stops. The blobs are from my refining, just shy of 1.5ozt last month. The diamonds will be sent off to GIA .46 and .57 round brilliant whites and a .24 ct brilliant yellow. My first colorful diamond.

Oh, the bars are were bought at melt. I like small gold.

Recently came across this in the desk cobwebs. Was very shiny when I earned it 25 yrs. ago. Precious metal (to me) at the time. Years of exposure have taken their toll, on both of us. Guess the Grade. LOL

Yeager’s Ghost!

That ghost is really neat and it's dated too which I really like. I wonder if it will be an annual issue with different designs.

Yeah, they made the ghosts for about a month, I saw the listing on Halloween (the last day of issue)
You'll have to find a second hand one at this point. I bought mine hours before they quit making them.

However they are currently making a Maple Leaf for fall. Those are currently being made until December 21.
I have one in the mail, I'll post likely tonight when I check the mail. I'll post it here.
