Questions about PWCC review/edit process before auction going live

I just received notification that my cards are ready for reviews/edits before auction starts 11/2. I checked them(5) and only one has a description/writeup. Do they want me to submit my own auction descriptions for the others or are their descriptions sometimes delayed before showing up?... Thanks in advance for the help. -Claude

If there is no description, you can write your own and they’ll put it up - add to it.
Some people (like me) like a nice description but as I have come to find out some don’t care for them at all.
They did do any edits I asked, though - very good to work with.

I wish they had put something in for me to work with. I assumed the descriptions were put in by them and just "tweaked" by the card owner with any info they wanted added.
If you have intentions of doing it yourself, I’d say use this resource to cut and paste some set info and add a sentence or two about your card specifically.

Should save you some time.
Good luck with the auctions

They only do writeups for some. I don't believe they will actually assess the card for PQ/HE unless over a certain value and pre-1987, but I could be mistaken.
Anybody ever request a new scan for their cards from PWCC? I have turned into a scanning nut lately (my Epson's fault), and while I can live with most of the scans made by them a few just stick out in my eyes. I have some really dead centered cards that are very tilted in the cases in their scans. If you were going after these cards would that affect what you would pay for the card? Do the cards still stand out as dead centered? Or am I just overthinking this at this point lol? Here are a few examples. As always thanks for the help!

Personally, tilting aside, I like the PWCC scans better....no offense intended. I think I look past the tilting as I can see it isn't the card but how it is sitting in the holder. The clarity and brightness in their scans really pop out....to me, at least.
The first Gwynn and Winfield don't bug me and wouldn't affect my bid, but the second Gwynn one definitely would as it's really hard to figure out with 3 borders impacted. As an 'experienced' bidder on PSA cards, I always pay attention if some of the card is under a rail/LPT to factor in for centering; for someone newer to buying graded cards, I could see them not realizing how nice the centering is if some border is hidden.
Just ask them to tap it straight and rescan. I have before on an item that was centered real well I wanted to highlight.
Nice centered cards!
Thanks everyone for the help, I decided to ask for a couple of cards to be scanned again. There was also something on the scanner bed that makes it look as if there is debris inside the holder on the first card so I though why not just ask. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if it ends up happening.

That Winfield is awesome. Far better than most 8’s. Love to own it.
Thank you!
Well out of the three cards they scanned the Gwynn again ending in 0056. 1 for 3 not bad I guess, new scan below.

Raise a stink if needed.
You only get to sell once and YOU are the customer.

I think at this point I'll just let it be, I really need some good mojo on this lot I have there now.

Best of luck but I think you are crazy. If it’s not how you want it get it how you want it. I’m not saying go nuclear but their staff is awesome and their customer service - for buyers and sellers - is 100% the bread and butter of their business.
And if you’re right (and you probably are) then you put more money in BOTH of your pockets.
