Food for thought.
Some on the all time Yankee team registry set are nowhere near HOF caliber.
Such as White and Randolph.
Are they any recently retired or playing that merit inclusion into this set?
CC, Gardner??

Well, I would say there’s not much chance they retire Gardner’s number. Beloved Yankee but not Paul O’Neill and he’s not had the number retired, either.
CC Sabathia would have a shot, though. Can’t see anyone else retired or active as a strong candidate yet. Some do have promise.
Good point to ponder though so thank you...

I wouldn't say "Nowhere near". White is essentially the same as Jim Rice and Randolph is better than a lot of HOF second basemen. Don't misunderstand, I wouldn't put them in either, but I would have long before Morris or Baines.

I am sorry for the mistake.
I was not referring to the Yankees retire their jersey numbers.
Referring to them getting on the PSA all time Yankees set many of which you and I collect.
I for sure would never retire Gardner's #.
Do the Yankees have their own hall of fame??
The new Yankee Stadium is like and has a museum. It is full of memorabilia from all eras.
The Rookies in the group shot all have had their number retired. That’s the common thread. I was actually unaware of the ‘All Time Yankees set’ so thanks for the heads up; I’ll have to check it out.

well I shouldn't have said nowhere near. Maybe just a very low chance to make the HOF. No comment on how good they were. Part of me wants to see Nettles in the HOF. I have been a Yankees fan for 50+ years.
Bobby Murcer was my fav player after Mantle.

Tossing Whitey and Berra here in scan form, too...

I love the idea and good luck with the project.

Why would they need it? They have Cooperstown.

My recent addition. I overpaid for the grade. I am 100% sure the auction was shilled.
But the card looks 7ish to me. It has the E cert with it.
