GTG 1888 Morgan -- with a twist

First, guess the recent ANACS grade...
Then, guess the same coin's grade in the late 1980's by seller Littleton Rare Coins.

ChrisH821, asheland, and ilikemonsters nailed it exactly right on both grades!
And the 30-year-old grade by Littleton Rare Coins...
...strikes me as oddly conservative for a coin graded by the Seller. IIRC, I bought it sight unseen in 1988 by mail order from a magazine ad -- BU 100-Year-Old Morgan Dollars or something like that -- to commemorate the birth of my sister's first child. Long-story-short, 30 years later it remains in my possession for "safekeeping".
