Short show report

First off the traffic was terrible stop and go for miles
Got to the show got my dealer badge and went in and saw a bunch of old friends.
When the show opened to the public I was surprised that there weren’t more people coming in.
In the past the isles were full of people, not so today
If you want to see one of the nicest Mercury dime stop by Angle Dees and look at his 1945-S in an NGC holder.
Great eye appeal!!!! Super clean surface.
Some dealer s want to see me tomorrow. I think they were short of some funds.
Spent some time with the Col. who is running for the ANA presidency.

"Spent some time with the Col. who is running for the ANA presidency"
@ColonelJessup what????????
If you’re an ANA member stop by his table and sign the nomination form for president
COL Ellsworth.
Hope you have a great show Pat. Wish I was there. Do you have any nice Mercs I could use?
Dimeman I don’t think I have any dimes that you need at this time.
Maybe at the FUN in January
@PTVETTER
Would you please take a picture of the NGC mercury 1945 S? I did not see it on his web site.
Thank you in advance
Brief and concise... I look forward to the detail edition....
Cheers, RickO
Day two
Left the hotel expecting major traffic delays.
To my surprise not too bad. Then there is that darn $30.00 a day parking.
Sat with a few dealers before the show opened and BSed a bit
One topic was show attendance. Maybe changing the date was a bad idea
Maybe to soon after the ANA in philly.
I was surprised that some dealers wanted to wait to buy today instead of yesterday.
I guess they we’re watching their money flow?
Showed a 1969-S DDO high grade to a few dealers, but no takers.
One forum member stopped by Angel Dees to see the 1945-S in MS68FB with color.
Returned home tired now at dinner.
Oh one tid bit DONT try to offer more for a coin at a dealers table just after he prices the coin.
That is just so wrong on sooo many levels.
I'm as surprised as you are
A majority of the Board members, like Steve, are friends of 20-40 years duration. I'd like to keep it that way
