Just send it in Raw if you must, but not worth it. Even if it goes 64, which it won't, it is a $140 coin. I have hundreds of these photo certificate coins and love them!
I would keep it as is... between the cost of crossover grading and what small profit a PCGS holder 'might' produce...it really - IMO- would not be worth it. Many would rather have it that way.... A numismatic artifact... Cheers, RickO

Worth more the way it is.

Let them evaluate it and keep it in original historic packaging if it's <63. Good luck and have FUN
Good luck and enjoy yourself !!!
lf i'm reading this correctly, it's for show grading only?

Yes, show grading only. The Lib Nickel doesn't even qualify, only slabbed coins.
Here is one I am taking for crossover. It was previously in a PCGS MS66 holder, and it should cross back. So far it hasn't.
I'll take the gold

That's a stunning quarter eagle. Did it cross?
Nope. Neither did about 25 others in OGH and OBH.
Nice old gold piece.
