They sometimes rotate in transit. Imagine vibrations from a truck or possibly airplane. These edge-view gaskets don't do it as often.... but it can happen. Try tapping one corner of the slab or hitting the slab with an electric toothbrush head.
Dang and fair enough. I tapped this on the counter with a forward motion and viola....
Obviously some more tapping to do!

Risky click of the day, hahaha.
I have successfully used the tap method, which I learned of here. In the beginning I thought, these coins need to be reholdered. I will try a electric toothbrush sometime. (Visits someoneβs house...βHey can I borrow your electric toothbrush? I have an experiment at home to do...β)

Found a trapped hair in a slabbed error coin. Doubt that it happened in transit.
I had to send a Liberty Seated half back to the mother ship for a 'blow off' as they called it.
It was encapsulated along with a cookie crumb.
My wife said it looked like a piece of scone.
Whatever.

Oh nevermind I just looked at the title..........oops

I usually open my package from PCGS or dealer while I'm sitting in my car while in the post office parking lot. So I just tap the slab on the steering wheel until the coin is aligned. Usually only takes a minute or so. Works for me.
as mentioned by multiple others, vibration from electric toothbrush will easily fix your problem.

Wooooha! Did someone just say it's officially "TACOβ’" Tuesday????
My OCD is not severe enough to let something like this bother me... I have a couple that could easily be tapped into 'alignment'...just do not care enough to do it. My wife though, cannot stand for things to be 'out of balance' (as she calls it - a Libra you know)... So I guess, as a couple, we 'balance'....

@Aspie_Rocco ...... you have that painted sky in your living room

I've heard the electric toothbrush recommended many times, but no one has ever specified what kind of toothpaste to use.

Awwwww. The title changed. For posterity, lol, it was once βHow hard is it?β

Here is one that just will not cooperate

It is not so hard after all
This'll NEVER be right!

Naw not at all, just have to tap it hard on the counter a few time's to get it aligned right, however the electric toothbrush sounds interesting
Edited to add........the coin.........the coin

MS64. You know if you would of tapped the other side it would of went the other way. π
