I am in a Merriot hotel room, and I can’t see tonight’s seventh game of the National League Championship series. I can see several college foot ball games, but no baseball. It really shows how interest in the game has decreased. “Big Games” are now only on second or third rate networks. Will the World Series only appear on “Elmer’s Small Time Sports Network?” We’ll see next week. Years ago baseball got prime time coverage on the major network channels.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. Four and a half hour games are eating up too much airtime.
the second game was on till 2am the other night no one on the east coast is awake. That is ridiculous. Plus FS1 ? Seriously??? Fox has a game and puts it on fox sports garbage channel brilliant
You can the Fox entertainment and news channels, but you can’t get the sports channel. Do they think the stuff they are showing on the other two is more popular? I guess they do.
The Boston - Houston series was on TBS or some such thing. I had to go to the cable search function to find it. The two announcers they had were “Astros homer guys” who were weak compared the commentators in decades gone by. Baseball must really be losing its audience given the diminished coverage.
I might as well pile on MLB. The late start times eliminate younger children from watching the playoffs. How does MLB think the next generation of fans will be interested in the sport. What a shame taking the profits now and mortgaging the future of one of the greatest sports ever played. The great players are rolling over in their graves!
